The paradigm of friendship between a man and a woman has
changed since long. All that it took was embracing the fact that a pure
platonic friendship isn’t realistic, and that there is nothing wrong with the
notion. The current generation acknowledges their sexuality and their
inevitable mutual or one-sided attraction towards their friends of opposite
sex. That’s what has made it simpler for a man and a woman to be “just friends”
and not make moves on their sexual urges when pointless.
This has bestowed upon us a series of endless possibilities.

Today let me tell you why it’s not only perky but also a necessity for every
man to have one or more female best friends.
They are inspirational
Men do know about those tough days women go through each
month, but we are incapable of experiencing them (thank god for that).
Having female best friends will help you to comprehend the gravity of it. Just
make sure you survive though their PMSing and you will know how hard it gets
for them to go about their routine life during “those days.” Trust me, compared
to that, your worst days will seem like a work in the park. If that is not
inspirational then what is, I wonder!
We get to know what women want (They Don’t Know)
“What women want!” has made philosophers wonder, deeper than
most of the other secrets of the universe. The reason is simple: those
truth-seekers didn’t have female best friends. Here is what I have learnt from
my horde of female friends: there is no secret; none at all. Most of the
women have no clue about what they want or need in a particular situation. Once
you grasp that truth, the plainest reality of all will emerge in front of you: Women
are Simply Complex. It’s so because of the lack of understanding they have
of themselves. And that’s exactly what makes them most adorable, exciting, and
mysterious people to befriend… and don’t forget directive.
They respect your sensitive side
Prejudice has always discriminated sensitivity from
manliness. If that notion was true then none of the musicians, painters, or
authors would be men; and we all know who make women most weak at their knees. We,
men, handle our sensitive side and emotions differently than women, but the
foundations are almost always the same. So, if you are afraid to show your
softer side to your male friends then the girls in your gang can help, without
judging or laughing at you. Women have the powers to make you feel both great
and worse about your entire existence. Just be on their right side and you
shall do fine.
They prepare you for marriage
Many will argue over this, but if you think it trough then
its reality isn’t tough to accept. Best friends are those people who are most
truthful to you (most of the times) and they also act themselves around
you. This is what makes sure that you learn to communicate better with women,
and understand their expectations from you. They will also help you understand
that they always have the last word and that they are always right. If
this doesn’t prepare you for a successful (another word for peaceful)
marriage then nothing will, my friend.
